“ 昭和30年代の魔法瓶は今見れば派手すぎる．なぜこんな色遣いなのか失礼ながら聞いたところ，「それは花だったからです」との答えであった．昭和30年代の殺風景なちゃぶ台を飾る役割を担っていたのである．こういうことは真っ白なギャラリーにぽつんと魔法瓶を置いたのでは決して理解されない．
